2026 OBON FESTIVAL
OBON GENERAL CLEAN-UP WORK DAY
Sunday, August 2, 2026 at 8am, rain or shine.
We are in need of able-bodied volunteers to perform manual labor tasks such as cleaning, climbing ladders, lift and carry heavy items, pulling weeds, mowing, tree trimming, scrubbing walkways, dump runs, and weed whacking, to name a few. Yes there are LOTS to do! Those who have weedwhackers and are comfortable using one are encouraged to help us tackle the overgrowth caused by the ongoing rainy weather.
Please RSVP if you plan on volunteering in the event we need to notify you of any last-minute cancellations due to poor weather conditions. We will be serving a light lunch and need to have an accurate head count of how much food to purchase for our hard working volunteers and to avoid unnecessary waste.
